The Poem - The Ocean's Edge

- I
Leave on vacations everyday
You -

'aught to come

One of these days, the ocean's edge won't be enough
The roads and The woods
in all their glory,
won't love anywhere near what we do.

How do you cure what can't be diagnosed,
How do you love what doesn't exist.
The way you listen to what is not said,
And believe in what is not seen.

Magic,
It's something we felt, it's something we make
Fire,
Cleansing, intense - it lingers long on the skin
into the morning.

Walk to the beach,
Watch the sunrise,
And under your umbrella,
let's fall asleep in the sun.

And on the ocean's edge, make love.

The Poem - Eternal Dust

Out of the dust there is risen,
life

And forward it springs, down to progress
And never will again it be as the sky
As the wind
As the water
As the spirit

Safety never swayed, it was found
In him, in her
And kissed the supple standard of joy on it's cheek

For I forever loved that which was never touched
And I never touched that which was loved by another

- How high -
- How rough -
- How soon -
- How far -
May it be that we never part,
May it be that we are never together,
For so time runs, and so runs,
and so runs
- are we in -
- am I in -
- can you be -
- is it for-

love

The captivity of the heart is lost in selflessness
Today, be that which will not weather
Tomorrow, be that which will break down, be run down,
Run, and so run.

Waltz with me, dine on the music
masque your face, not your fears
Dreams be what nightmares are not
Flee your nightmare, be my dream

A glimpse as the steps of celestial geometry prey,
We are the stuff of stars and of dreams,
Of forever and then,
and then,

There is the sun

Be in that ray,
be that ray,
and with me shine,
for today we dine,
tomorrow we are gone,
but our souls

forever more are (w)one

and we are one again with substance,
that of real earth...
of dust

Out of the dust there is risen,
life

The Poem - Here and There

Words can; contain,
all you wish to feel.

Someday, neverday,
all day, everyday,
Sunday, Saturday,
This Day - yesterday.

I am only that which I grant myself to be;
be to myself only that which I grant; am
I what I wish? what I see? what I do? or how I feel?

Someday tomorrow, you'll see yesterday
In some time far gone, you'll wish you could stay,
Forever is long, and human minds sway
With tomorrow now gone, you'll triumph today.

How bitter, how sweet,
Is missing your feet...
as they were companions with mine.
How joyous, morose
Is the dry pedaled rose...
As it counts the winter clouds in the sky.

Today I see your face /
Tomorrow I see your soul /
Overmorrow I see your happiness /
Fortnight I see you / never alone

Forever I see you /
Are- Can- Not- Should-
you?

The tree is bare, and bare that it is not rare,
unlike it,'s a rare bare seed,
for which the bare tree cared,
with naught but air

It is exhausted - - -
The farmer is not, for he always works.

Come tomorrow, come today,
come forever, never stay,
And sweep me up in yesterday,
fly thoughts - fly away.
